The CWCUL designation is awarded to professionals who complete the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Leadership Institute Part I, a rigorous six-month, cohort-based leadership development program delivered virtually in partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Continuing Education. The program equips emerging and experienced credit union leaders with practical skills that support professional growth, succession planning, and organizational excellence.

Blask brings nearly 30 years of credit union experience to his role, beginning as a credit union member in 1993. He joined Corporate Central in 2006 in Systems Information Support, focusing on network and information security and IT project management. Over the years, he advanced into roles overseeing enterprise risk management, compliance, audits, business continuity planning, incident response, strategic initiatives, third-party oversight, and BSA/AML/OFAC compliance. In 2020, his role evolved to Vice President of Governance Risk & Compliance. Blask also holds the NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) and NAFCU Certified Risk Manager (NCRM) designations.

“Fred’s achievement reflects his strong commitment to leadership and continuous improvement,” said Pete Paulson, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “The Leadership Institute provides a comprehensive foundation in key leadership disciplines, and Fred’s successful completion of the program further strengthens the expertise and leadership depth he brings to Corporate Central.”

“This program challenged me to step back, think differently, and strengthen how I lead in a rapidly evolving industry,” said Blask. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and for Corporate Central’s continued support of professional development and leadership growth.”

Randall joined Corporate Central in October 2020 as a Member Services Representative and was promoted to Member Experience Specialist in December 2025. In her role, she delivers exceptional service, assists members with questions related to products and services, and serves as a liaison between members and internal teams to foster proactive, meaningful relationships. Prior to joining Corporate Central, Randall worked as a Member Services Representative at Brewery Credit Union. She is a graduate of Rufus King High School and has worked toward her Liberal Arts degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

“Congratulations to Sierra on this incredible accomplishment,” said Stephanie Schmidt, AAP, AFPP, CCUE, CWCUL, Vice President of Member Services. “Her completion of the WCUL Leadership Institute is a testament to her dedication to growth and leadership. This achievement reflects her hard work, focus, and commitment to excellence, and we are proud to see her bring these strengthened skills to our Member Experience team.”

“The Leadership Institute helped me build confidence, strengthen my leadership voice, and better understand how I can make a positive impact every day,” said Randall. “I’m thankful for the support of my team and excited to continue growing alongside such an incredible organization.”

The WCUL Leadership Institute runs from August through December and includes 12 interactive virtual sessions focused on performance management, CliftonStrengths®, psychological safety and trust, employee engagement and coaching, project management foundations, and emotional intelligence. Graduates earn continuing education units (CEUs) through UW–Milwaukee’s School of Continuing Education, and participants who complete all required modules earn the CWCUL designation.

Blask’s and Randall’s accomplishments underscore Corporate Central’s commitment to developing strong leaders who are well prepared to support the evolving needs of credit unions and their members.
