The Corporate Connection

A Note from Chris

Chris FeltonAs we are preparing to celebrate Independence Day this July 4, I hope you take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of citizenship and the enduring values that unite us. Being American is about more than geography—it’s about a deep commitment to liberty, equality, opportunity, and self-governance. While we enjoy the familiar traditions of parades, picnics, and fireworks, this holiday also invites us to honor the sacrifices of those who have preserved our freedoms and to be thankful for the opportunities this great nation provides. I wish you and your family a joyful holiday filled with gratitude and a chance to celebrate everything that makes this country so special.

At Corporate Central, we are inspired by this spirit of opportunity and self-governance as we look toward the future of our organization. Just as our country was built on bold ideas and collaborative effort, we believe that great innovation begins with great conversations. That’s why we are launching an exciting new initiative—a monthly webinar series, called CUrious Minds Collective, designed to bring together passionate credit union professionals who are eager to influence what’s next at Corporate Central.

This collective will be a space where your feedback, ideas, and experiences will help guide product discovery and innovation. Whether you are on the front lines serving members or working behind the scenes, your voice matters. The only requirement is curiosity, commitment, and belief in the power of collaboration.

Together, we will explore what is possible and work to shape the future of our offerings in a way that strengthens the entire credit union movement.

If you are interested in joining us on this journey, I invite you to learn more and sign up here.

Here’s to new ideas, new possibilities—and a bright future we can build together. Happy Independence Day!

Sincerely,A person in a suit smiling.Chris Felton

Can security keys be reused?
Yes, security keys can be reused. In some cases, issuing a new security key may be preferred. Here are several considerations to keep in mind:

  • Credential management: Remove and reissue the credentials linked to the security key. If the security key has other credentials stored on it, ensure they are also removed to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Tracking systems: Update tracking systems to show the new user of the security key. Keep a record of who previously used it for efficiency.
  • System accuracy: Make sure all systems have the correct information.
  • Certificate Management System (CMS): If you use a CMS to manage security keys, utilize it for the reuse process.
  • Resetting the security key: Allocate time to properly reset the security key, reset instructions are below.
    • Basic reset instructions for Windows:
      • Open the Settings application via the Start menu.
      • Go to Accounts > Sign-in options > Security Key and click Manage.
      • Follow the prompts and click the Reset button.
      • Complete the on-screen instructions to reset your security key.

Honoring a True Legend of the Movement: Nancy Morgan

Nancy-Legend-of-the-Movement.pngIt is with deep admiration and gratitude that we celebrate Nancy Morgan, SVP/Chief Operating Officer, as she has been inducted into the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation’s 2025 Legends of the Movement—a prestigious honor that recognizes trailblazers who have made extraordinary and lasting contributions to the credit union movement.

Nancy’s story is one of unwavering commitment, exceptional leadership, and true cooperative spirit. Since joining Corporate Central in 1992, she has not only shaped the strategic direction of our organization, but also helped elevate the entire credit union community across Wisconsin and beyond. Her 33-year legacy is marked by innovation, adaptability, and a relentless dedication to serving others.

Throughout her tenure, Nancy has led nearly every department at Corporate Central, steering our teams through periods of significant transformation with wisdom, compassion, and vision. As Chief Operating Officer, she has been instrumental in the development and execution of innovative products and services that enable credit unions to thrive in an increasingly complex financial landscape. Her deep expertise in the payments space—spanning checks, wires, ACH, instant payments, and more—has been invaluable in positioning our organization and our members at the forefront of the industry.

What truly sets Nancy apart is the Nancy Difference—a phrase affectionately used by those who know her best. Her kindness, humility, and unwavering belief in the credit union philosophy of People Helping People have made a lasting impact on colleagues, members, and partners alike. Nancy embodies the values we all strive to uphold: servant leadership, genuine collaboration, and a deep concern for community.

As Nancy prepares for her well-deserved retirement later this year, we reflect on the remarkable legacy she leaves behind—not just in systems and strategy, but in people. Her mentorship has shaped careers. Her leadership has inspired change, and her heart has lifted this movement.

Nancy, thank you for dedicating your life’s work to strengthening the credit union system. You are, and always will be, a true Legend of the Movement.

Corporate Cares

Offering support and encouragement to families during difficult times.
Corporate Cares recently volunteered at Kathy’s House, a non-profit Hospital Guest House next to Froedtert Hospital that provides lodging and a supportive environment for families facing serious illness. Our team prepared bag lunches with encouraging notes for guests, a small gesture inspired by personal experience that can bring comfort during difficult times. Corporate Central also donated $1,000 to help cover boarding costs and support their mission of offering a home away from home.

Honoring our heroes.
In May, Corporate Cares collected heartfelt letters and colorful cards for a future Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, creating a meaningful “Mail Call” experience for veterans visiting Washington D.C. Corporate Central also donated $1,000, covering travel costs for two veterans and their guardians to take part in this unforgettable journey.
