Corporate Central Conducts Annual Meeting and Announces Board of Directors

MILWAUKEE, WI – May 15, 2024 – On Thursday, May 9, Corporate Central hosted its 43rd Annual Meeting at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The credit union was delighted to participate in The Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Annual Convention & Exposition, which coincided with the annual meeting. Delegates from member credit unions gathered in person for the meeting, while those unable to attend in person were able to tune in via a live stream on YouTube.

Members gained insight from Chris Felton, President/CEO of Corporate Central and Brett Thompson, President/CEO of The League on the state of the industry as they considered different topics during a table discussion. This included information on strategic initiatives and both opportunities and challenges facing the credit union movement. The joint meeting made a clear statement on Corporate Central’s dedication to partnering and collaboration, core value pillars of the credit union movement.

During the elections report, the following were declared directors of Corporate Central:

  • Charlie Zanayed, CoVantage Credit Union
  • Val Mindak, Park City Credit Union

Corporate Central’s 2024–2025 executive committee was determined as follows:

  • Chair, Val Mindak, Park City Credit Union
  • Vice Chair, Sue Johnson, Fort Community Credit Union
  • Secretary, Steve Koenen, Altra Federal Credit Union
  • Treasurer, Chris Allen, Fox Communities Credit Union

Immediately following the table discussion, Chris Felton congratulated Brett Thompson on his upcoming retirement and presented him with a plaque that read, “In appreciation for your dedication to the movement, in collaboration with Corporate Central to the benefit of our members, the board and staff salute your remarkable career.”
