Stephanie Schmidt, APRP, AAP, AFPP, NCP, CWCUL, CUDE, CCUE, CCUFC, CCCM

Stephanie Schmidt joined Corporate Central Credit Union in February 2015 and has built a career marked by progressive leadership and a strong commitment to members. She advanced through several roles within Member Services before being promoted to Vice President of Member Experience in March 2024.

In her current role, Stephanie leads strategies designed to enhance the overall member experience, oversees the delivery of personalized services, and champions innovative solutions that respond to the evolving needs of credit unions. Her deep industry background includes frontline and lending roles, providing her with a well‑rounded perspective on service excellence. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, and dedicated to serving Corporate Central’s credit union family.

Stephanie is an Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Faster Payments Professional (AFPP), and National Check Professional (NCP). She has also earned numerous industry credentials, including Certified Wisconsin Credit Union Leader (CWCUL), Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE), Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC), and Certified Contact Center Manager (CCCM). She is a graduate of CUNA Management School, where she graduated with honors. While she does not hold a degree, Stephanie is a strong believer that college is not the only path to success. Through hard work, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning, she demonstrates that the sky truly is the limit for creating a fulfilling career.

When not at work, she enjoys music, reading, teaching and performing ethnic dance, learning about new cultures, traveling, gardening and canning, event planning, and spending time with her husband, daughter, dog, cats, chickens, family, and friends — and she has a well‑known appreciation for all things glitter and rhinestones.
