Investment Management
Prudent investment management practices require constant monitoring of the relative security of all holdings. For many credit unions, the largest single holding in their portfolio is at their corporate credit union. Due to this concentration, Corporate Central Credit Union provides a President's Report and Quarterly Financial Analysis every quarter with in-depth financial information, which can be found on our Financial Information page.
At Corporate Central Credit Union, we have a similar need to keep current with the financial position of our corporate partner, U.S. Central Federal Credit Union. We do not feel it is enough to rely upon the rating agencies, such as Standard & Poor's or Moody's to determine the safety of a financial counter-party. Therefore, we examine the changes to the financial position of U.S. Central Federal Credit Union on a monthly basis. On a quarterly basis, we examine the relative safety of their investment portfolio, along with the ratings of the various ratings agencies.
